Are you of legal drinking age in your country?
We want to make sure we are encouraging responsible drinking at all times.
Our flagship Golden Ale, Jemima's Pitchfork, has just been awardeda DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL at the ultra-prestigious European Beer Challenge. The prize comes hot on the heels of Jemima placing 2nd overall for Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival last year and we coudn't be more proud to share the news!
The European Beer Challenge is judged by major buyers from across the continent, all of whom have vast experience sourcing beers for restaurants, bars, wholesalers and distributors. Basically all of the key decision makers who decide which beers get stocked where. Recognition from this group with the highest award they offer, a double gold medal, is tremendously exciting as we look to continue to spread the word about Welsh beer across the world.
Jemima's Pitchfork was named for Jemima Nicholas who, legend has it, single handedly ended the 1797 Battle of Fishguard using only a pitchfork. We brewed the beer to honour an iconic Welsh woman and are especially proud to be sharing our history alongside our beer.
Huge credit is due to our brewing team for constantly pushing for excellence in the brewery - congratulations guys!
